What is ParentSquare?
ParentSquare is a communication and engagement tool that helps teachers and staff easily communicate and collaborate with other staff, students and parents.
Types of Communication

Pros: Any contact will get the alert (account registration or app download not required) Cons: Limited to campus admin, no way for user to return call or text | Pros: Immediately sends message, students expect this type of communication Cons: Must be logged-in to respond to messages | Pros: Can be scheduled, more flexibility in components of message (layout, add-ons, etc.) Cons: May not be seen as immediate communication |
What About Groups?
Groups are separate from classes or programs. They are a created for contacts who need to be grouped together outside of their program for communication specific to them. Some examples of groups:
AM/PM students
CTSOs
Instructional Staff
Groups must be manually updated, they do not sync with SAS. Once you create a group you can send a post or alert to that group. See video tutorials below for more information about groups.

Kiamichi Tech Custom Role - Campus Admin | Student Services Coordinators, Campus Marketing Team Members, Campus Safety Team Members, Others As Requested by Campus Director | Can send posts and messages to anyone, can send smart alerts, can create groups |
Kiamichi Tech Custom Role - Campus Support | All Teaching Assistants | Can send posts and messages to anyone, can create groups |
